CHARITY INVESTIGATION FOR CANCER RESEARCH AT WOODCHESTER MANSION

Scream Team: Lucy Elsmore, Kirstin Taylor, Caroline Bevan, Helen Brown and Kim Morgan.

Forest Paranormal: Tim Gunter, Vicki Thornton, Paula Meek and Adam Heath at Woodchester Mansion.
THE Forest’s premier paranormal investigation team FPI has joined forces with its top fans, the Scream Team, to raise money for cancer research.

If you’re up for it, the charity fright night will be a vigil overnight at one of the West’s most haunted houses – Woodchester Mansion.

Just to make you feel more cheerful and comfortable, the mansion was abruptly left by the masons who were building it.

They vanished abandoning their tools. No one knows why and the building is still unfinished.

Of course there's nothing spooky about that. Everyone wants to get off work early once in a while.... surely!

The fundraising night, funds for which will all go to Cancer Research UK, will see teams spending the night in Woodchester’s ‘supposedly’ haunted grounds, tunnels and cellars on Friday (October 7) from a pleasant 8pm to a less than pleasant 6am.

Not for the faint hearted.

The whole event has been organised by the Forest’s Scream Team who have all been touched by cancer in one way or another.

They’re looking for support, so if you can’t make the fright night, why not donate something for the raffle?
A signed Gloucester rugby shirt is already lined up. One for the girls perhaps!

To find out more go on Facebook or get in touch with Kirsten Taylor on 07855 557423 or Kim Morgan on 07817 554044.

After all, it’s the opportunity to book into an evening you’d be well advised to miss.
