WITI-TV, RICHFIELD—It's Richfield bar with a colorful past to regulars. Madam Belle's is known for wings and burgers. However, 80 years ago it was a brothel and a hangout for the Chicago mob and Al Capone.
Jason Pipkorn owns Madam Belle's and shares tales of Al Capone's brush with death and how Scarface would elude authorities. "He was standing right about where I'm standing and if you see the picture on the wall behind me, there's a bullet hole to the right and to the left," Pipkorn says.
In the first month working at Madam Belle's, Jaimi Justman says she saw something unusual as she closed up. "All the doors were locked and I saw out of my eye a girl with black hair, probably my age over in the corner here."
