Enquiries by Fox have failed to find the source of the flash, and there were no blown transformers thought at first to be the likely cause.
Phoenix was famous in 1997, when group of glowing amber orbs were spotted in the air a few hundred feet above the city. They moved in a V-shape formation. Footage was captured of this event, and some are connecting the dots with this latest light anomaly.
