A VISIT TO A VERY HAUNTED NAPOLEONIC ERA FORT

Early in June 2017, and just prior to my jaunt to the Adriatic to visit Venice and Poveglia with my American friend Mark Painter, we visited Harwich Redoubt Fort, in Harwich, Essex.  A town famous in history for it`s connections to The Mayflower.
The Redoubt was built as a harbour defence for a possible invasion by the French during the Napoleonic era.
The fact that it exists today is down to the volunteer labour from the people of Harwich who stepped in to help restore it.
During the restoration, they even discovered a huge Victorian cannon which had been dumped in the moat.
Anyway, our visit was to tap into the presences there, and we were not unrewarded despite the dreadful weather conditions outside!

THIS SHOW WILL BE `LIVE` FROM 2200hrs (BST - GMT+1) FRIDAY 28th JULY 2017
