BATH UNIVERSITY HOLDS TWO DAY `PARANORMAL` WEEKEND

Hundreds of people from around the country will gather at the University of Bath to discuss the paranormal this weekend.
The Claverton Down campus will host the two-day event Seriously Strange.
TV personalities, academics and researchers will be talking about subjects such as ghosts, crop circles, mediums and werewolves.
Organisers say there will also be live paranormal experimentation, a party and “an announcement that will change the field of paranormal investigation for good.”
Organising committee chairman, Dave Wood, said: “Hundreds of people will be gathering for this unique event from all over the UK and as far away as the Middle East. This is a great opportunity for people in Bath to come along and find out about the seriously strange things that people experience. Everyone is welcome.”
The event marks the 30th anniversary of the national charity the Association for the Scientific Study of Anomalous Phenomena, which is based in Frome.
Speakers will include Bradford on Avon-based Stephen Volk, writer of BBC1’s Ghost Watch and ITV1’s Afterlife, parapsychologist Dr Ciaran O’Keeffe and star of Fortean TV the Rev Lionel Fanthorpe.
